Sock craft | How to make a polar bear

Things to prepare: One white sock,
cotton, marker, scissors,
needle, thread (black and white),
glue gun, felt sheet( black, red),
wood beads, glitter pompom, small bell

1.Prepare one sock. Draw the face and arm areas using a marker as seen on the screen.  

Tip. The ear areas have to be exaggerated when drawn so that the shape of the ear bulge out later.

2. We’re going to make the body with the other sock. Draw as seen on the screen. 

3. Sew according to the line that has been drawn.

4. Sew the areas(body, face, arms) as well.
(Stitch along with the black lines.)

5. Sew the parts(body, face, arms) as well by repeating multiple times.

6. Cut as seen in the screen as you avoid the area that has been sewn..

*If you cut the area that has been sewn, the thread may burst open.

7. Important! Once you cut the face and body area,
there would be cloth left over.
Do not throw it away and keep it! 

9. Turn it over then insert the cotton.<No.1>
Tip. The more cotton you insert, the fluffier the face will become!

 10.Once you have finished inserting the cotton in No.1 (bear’s face),
sew the area where you have inserted the cotton then finish up.

11. Insert the cotton even in the No.2 (body area), sew the area then finish up.

12. The face and body are complete.

13. Stick the face on the body with a glue gun. 

14. Sew in diagonal direction
(This will prevent the bear’s face from becoming twisted.)

15. Sew closely sideways.

16. Make No.4 in an oval shape and and fix using a glue gun
to make the bear's muzzle as seen on screen.

 17. Fold No.5’s socks cloth as seen on the screen then stick
using a glue gun to make the bear’s tail.

18. Stick the tail onto the bear’s body.

20. Fix the eyes and nose to the face.

21. Make the mouth with black thread. 

22. Push cotton in No.3 and sew them to the body. 

23.Make a ribbon shape with red felt and fix to the neck.

24. Decorate the bear as you wish. Your bear is done!
