How to Make a Felt Mushroom

 

You will need:
Ivory soft felt sheet, brown soft felt sheet, scissors, needle, thread
1. Prepare three circles of ivory felt.

2. Overlay two circles and stitch together as seen on screen.
(Leave an inch open so you can push cotton in.


3. Push cotton in.


4. With a circle of brown felt, make ruffled edge by pulling the thread and do not make a knot yet.


5. Cover the ivory felt ball with the brown felt and after tightening the thread, make a knot.



6. For the mushroom stalk, Prepare the items below.



7. Sew together the edges of white felt pieces and push cotton in.



8. Connect the mushroom parts.



9. For the gills of the mushroom, cut the center of the other circle of white felt as seen on screen.


10. Join it to the mushroom and make it look like the gills with thread.

 


 

1. Prepare 3 circles of ivory felt and a bigger circle of brown felt.



2. Cut out the center of the brown felt to make it look like a real mushroom.



3. Overlay two circles and stitch the center together as seen on screen.



4. Put another circle under it and sew the edge leaving a slit to push cotton into.



5. Push cotton in and close up the slit by sewing.



6. With a circle of brown felt, make ruffled edge by pulling the thread and do not make a knot yet.
(The procedure from here is the same as the easy version.)

 

7. For the mushroom stalk, sew together the edges of white felt pieces and push cotton in. Connect the parts.



8. For the gills of the mushroom, cut the center of the other circle of white felt as seen on screen.



9. Join it to the mushroom and make it look like the gills with thread.
